On the same day we were walking through the Sacred Grove, and around the Joseph Smith house, we spied the temple, and it looked so lovely up on the hill, shining against the drab, sleeping trees.

Palmyra Jaunt
We recently all had a Monday off, so we drove up to Palmyra to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit at the Hill Cumorah Visitors Center. After this (and a yummy lunch at Mark's Pizza!) we went to the cemetary where Alvin Smith is buried, then we went and walked around the Sacred Grove (which Dylan accidentally called the Holy Grove, and Michael called the Sacred Garden! What got into them, I wonder?) It was a beautiful, cold, sunny day.

Easter Eggs!
Here are the kids decorating Easter eggs. Dylan isn't as into decorating eggs as he used to be, so I suggested that he could put a skull on his egg. He did indeed - coming up with this very creative image of the crosses on Golgotha. Good job, Dylan!
